Blindfold Run (20.10.07)

Juliette and Jim Roberts would like to say a big thank you to everyone who took part in Saturday's blind-fold run in aid of the Sussex charity Quicken Trust. The total raised from just one morning's run was an excellent £95 with more sponsorship money to come. This can buy 20 vital mosquito nets, malaria treatments or even ensure the safe delivery of a baby in the health centre! A special mention must go to Keith Turner who set himself the challenge of running unaided and finished way ahead of the rest of us. Also a big thank you to Julie for organising the event - an enjoyable morning and definitely a good lesson in appreciating how well others cope when something we rely upon so heavily is taken away
